Wisdom from a 4-month-old
The sign language for "Mama, you may have to buy me a toothbrush earlier than you thought. Another tooth is cutting through." is stuffing both fists in a mouth until you gag.
Teething, while mama is frantically trying to get the house in something resembling order because the grandparents are coming tomorrow, is not fun. You may have to be left on a bed, sling, play gym complaining while mama is moving around waaaaaaay too fast to feel comfortable.
Calming down when teething is mission impossible if not in mama's arms.
Big sisters act with too much color and too many words. My sister entertains me for a while then she decides she needs to wear a different dress. She comes back wearing the new dress and a hat. With a feather! And a boa!! She entertains me some more until she needs to put on more of her lip gloss and a different pair of dress-up heels. And she uses the "f" word a lot - f.u.c.h.s.i.a. What kind of language is that? Certainly not one I speak.

You paint a vivid picture with your words -- delightful!
